Frequently Asked Questions
I am trying to sign in to Facebook but it's asking me to login with my personal account not my business page. How do I post to my business page?
Don't worry - as long as you are the owner or admin of your business page, once you login to your personal account you can choose the business page you would like to post to.
Do I need to be the admin of my Facebook page to use this feature?
To setup and approve the Rivet Works app permissions, you will need to be the admin of your page. Once the page has been authenticated, any Rivet Works user can use this feature.
What type of visual media can be shared using the Post to Facebook feature?
At this time, you can post a single photo to Facebook. Video and multiple photo posting is not yet available, but stay tuned for feature updates in the future!
I am trying to create a post from a submission, but the Facebook button is not live. Why is this happening?
Submissions must contain at least one photo to create posts. The Facebook button will not allow for posts to be created from text- or video-only submissions.
I scheduled a post, but want to go back and make changes. How can this be done?
You can make changes by logging into Facebook then navigating to Publishing Tools>Scheduled Posts. Here you can make changes to the content or scheduled time.
Do I need to approve all of the permissions for this feature to work?
Rivet Works requests the minimum amount of permissions needed to post content to Facebook and report on post results. To function properly, all permissions must be accepted.
Where can I find the stats for my Facebook posts?
Post statistics can be accessed on each individual submission in the Moderation Panel.
What if I have used the same submission in multiple social posts?
Your statistics will show overall results, as well as results for each individual post.
