Frequently Asked Questions
How will the platform determine which product to show in the call-to-action button?
In product displays, the call-to-action button will feature the product on the page. On category and gallery displays, the call-to-action button will display the first product that was selected.
Will this change be applied to the existing call-to-action buttons in my Rivet Works displays?
Yes, your existing displays will be updated with the new dynamic call-to-action button.
How can I enable this feature?
There is no need to take any action. This feature has already been rolled out to all of our customers!
Can I still add or remove tags from the groups created by Multi-Product Tagging?
You can remove entire groups, which will remove the product along with its related data, or remove individual tags from a group. At this time, you can add tag groups by selecting additional products in the product-selection task, but cannot add individual tags to a tag group.
What is the best method for changing or adding products?
The easiest and most effective way to change or add products is in the product selection task, which you can access in your Moderation Panel. This will ensure that the proper product data is included in the tag group.
Are submissions that I have previously added products to going to function properly given this change?
Yes, any submissions that have been manually tagged with multiple products will be updated as tag groups with the appropriate product data appended to them.
Can products be added to a submission if they are not included in a customer’s order?
Yes, both you and your customers can add products that are not included in an order by clicking the “show all” link on the product-selection task.
